Kathleen Ziobrowski has more than 17 years experience in the field of development. A graduate of State University of New York at Plattsburgh, she began her career in 1992 at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute as foundation assistant. From 1993-97, Ms. Ziobrowski served as foundation coordinator for Albany Medical Center Foundation managing all facets of fundraising for the Children's Miracle Network and the Children's Hospital at Albany Medical Center, as well as planning and implementing major special events such as Dancing in the Woods and Melodies of Christmas. She joined Ellis Hospital in 1998 as director of development/campaign and was involved in a team effort that completed a slated five-year $16 million campaign within four years and realized a total of $22 million, including a $2 million gift -- the largest in Ellis' history.
Since joining Sunnyview Rehabilitation Hospital Foundation in 2005, Ms. Ziobrowski has formed new donor relationships to bring the annual fund from $250,000 annually to more than $1.3 million per year for the past four years. She is also responsible for creating a successful planned giving program, including stewarding donors to the Legacy Society.
A resident of Schenectady, Ms. Ziobrowski is a board member of the Empire State Youth Orchestra and the Gift Planning Group of Northeastern New York. She is also a member of numerous professional and civic organizations, including the Association of Fundraising Professionals, the Association of Healthcare Philanthropy and the Chamber of Schenectady.
